MAS offers nine membership categories:
- Standard - 1 person ($25)
- Household - 2 or more persons ($30)
- Senior ($15)
- Student ($15)
- Institutional ($40)
- Canadian Standard - 1 person (C$35)
- Canadian Household - 2 or more persons (C$40)
- Sustaining Member ($100)
- Benefactor ($250)
Non-institutional members have voting privileges and are eligile for election to the Society's board of directors.
